Our core products and services include offline and online payments acceptance, cards issuing, digital financial services and FinTech SaaS. Dedicated to financial innovation, Wonder strives to bring disruptive financial products and services such as 7 minute onboarding, e-KYC, T+0 instant settlement, full-stack business accounts, same day terminal delivery, SME financing and more to all businesses across Asia, one at a time.
Our journey
We successfully completed a US$ 6 Million Series A strategic investment from Hong Kong Telecom / PCCW, establishing Wonder as a major direct-to-business entrant in the payments and FinTech market in Hong Kong.
We formed a strong corporate banking relationship with a highly reputable local financial institution, providing Wonder with a full suite of financial services including corporate banking, acquiring services and credit facility, which built a strong foundation to our growth in the coming years.
We focused on research and development to build the most advanced FinTech platform, with a core mission to enable any business to pay and get paid effortlessly: Wonder. Simultaneously, we were key enterprise technology solutions providers to major corporations, including Hong Kong Telecom, Bank of China, Wing Lung Bank and many more.
We formed strong corporate banking relationships with renowned global financial institutions such as Citi and DBS to support our FinTech product development and go-to-market execution. Additionally, we secured a committed credit facility from a leading local financial institution, ensuring robust financial flexibility.
We marked countless more significant milestones, most notably the launch of T+0 settlements, becoming the Principal Acquirer for major card schemes and Principal Issuer of JCB, as well as becoming Hong Kong’s largest market player for taxis to accept digital payments. To support our rapid growth, we successfully joined HKSTP's acceleration program which provided fresh capital and resources to elevate Wonder to the next level.
We reached new heights as we became the first Fintech company approved by the Transport Department of Hong Kong to provide digital payment acceptance in taxis, launched the world’s first JCB metal card, enabled PayMe as a payment option, and many more landmark achievements. We also showcased our innovations at major international exhibitions, including Hong Kong FinTech Week and InsurTech Insights, strengthening our global presence in the FinTech industry.
As we grow exponentially in Hong Kong, we are expanding to major international markets including Japan, Singapore, Macau, Malaysia and Taiwan, by leveraging our world-class payments and FinTech infrastructure. We are constantly driving product innovations across the Wonder Ecosystem, empowering more businesses globally to pay and get paid effortlessly.
