"Cash freedom": Wonder brings Hong Kong its first T+0 instant settlement
Traditional card settlement leaves merchants waiting days for their own money. Wonder's T+0 puts takings in the merchant account on the same calendar day β weekends and holidays included.

For most Hong Kong merchants, accepting cards has meant accepting a wait. Funds from card transactions typically arrive one to seven business days later, and bank holidays stretch that further β precisely when trading is busiest.

What T+0 changes
- Card takings behave like cash: the money is usable the same day.
- Restocking, wages and rent can be paid without bridging finance.
- Long holidays such as Lunar New Year no longer freeze incoming funds.
- Merchants can accept cards confidently instead of pushing customers to pay cash.
Wonder launched T+0 in Hong Kong in September 2023 and has since served thousands of merchants across restaurants, bars, retail and the taxi trade, supported by a private credit partnership that pre-funds settlement on a calendar-day basis.
Getting started takes minutes: register in the Wonder App with a mobile phone, complete digital KYC, and begin accepting more than twenty payment methods with settlement on the same day.
