Wonder partners with Acorn to enable T+0 settlements for SMEs

Wonder, a leading payments and fintech platform in Hong Kong and APAC, is delighted to announce the extension of its strategic partnership with Acorn Financial Services Company ("Acorn"), a renowned private credit investor in APAC, to enable T+0 settlements for SMEs. Building on a successful track record, the partnership is the foundation for Wonder to empower thousands of small and medium-sized businesses to improve cash flow and streamline financial operations.

The partnership leverages Acorn's private credit expertise and Wonder's full-stack B2B fintech platform to improve cash flow for low-risk offline SMEs such as restaurants, bars and taxi drivers. Wonder enables acceptance of more than 20 payment methods and pre-funds merchants on a calendar-day basis.

Since our official T+0 launch in September 2023, Wonder has already processed several billions in T+0 gross merchandise volume and served over 5,000 T+0 merchants. We expect our T+0 merchant book to reach over 20,000 in the next two to three years.

SMEs face numerous difficulties applying for bank loans, and T+0 allows them to receive revenue on the same day of the sale. Acorn aims to further scale the successful T+0 programme with Wonder to benefit even more merchants in Hong Kong.
